Leyte
Leyte is one of the six main islands that make up the central island chain known as the Visayas. It is here that General MacArthur landed with his forces in 1945 having previously been driven from the Philippines by the Japanese. The three most common English phrases for non-English speaking people of the region are "What's your name?", "How old are you?", and "I shall return."

The tiny island of Camigao lies just offshore from the town of Bato on the western coast of Leyte. At a leisurely stroll, one can circumnavigate the island's 360 degrees of beach in about fifteen minutes.
